It is 20 km via a good paved road from both the Santa Maria del Oro turnoff on highway Mex. 15. or from the Santa María del Oro toll booth on the Guadalajara -Tepic "autopista". It is 2 hours via autopista from Guadalajara and 50 minutes from Tepic.
